Surgical workshops are conducted by the Department of ENT,KGMCH for the benefit of undergraduate,postgraduate and budding doctors to get a depth in knowledge of the clinical and surgical skills and also for senior surgeons to get to know about the recent advances in the field of ENT.

Otokan 2016
Live surgical workshop on ear surgery and hands on temporal bone workshop. The event was graced by eminent surgeons and stalwarts in the field of ENT. It was attended by 200 ENT surgeons throughout India from 22.10.2016 to 23.10.2016 and was widely appeciated. Live ear surgeries were demonstrated. Hands on temporal bone dissection worshop was conducted for the benefit of the post graduate doctors.
Otokan-2018
A 3 day knowledge fest was conducted by Department of ENT, KGMCH between 14.12.2018 and 16.12.2018. It was attended by over 300 ENT surgeons,PGs and UGs throughout India. Live ear surgeries were demonstrated. Hands on temporal bone dissection worshop was conducted for the benefit of the post graduate doctors.

ENT FEST 2017
An academic fest was conducted on 17.7.2017 on general clinics and Vertigo update for the benefit on undergraduate and postgraduate students. It was attended by over 300 students from kanyakumari,tirunelveli and tuticorin medical colleges.
CME ON CSOM
CME on Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media was conducted on 13.12.2019 for the benefit of exam going undergraduate students from all over the state. It was attended by eminent examiners from all over the state and UG students from different parts of the state.
COCHLEAR IMPLANTEES DAY
Educative, informative and interactive sessions are conducted regularly for the benefit of the patients who undergo cochlear implant surgery and followup in our department. Parents of children who underwent cochlear implant surgeries and other cochlear implant patients are addressed by experts in this field. These sessions provide an opportunity for the parents of one candidate interact with another patients and know the treatment process and progress.
